I've been an image lover for a long time (probably since I took that Video Yearbook class in high school...only the photography bit stuck, though). Ever since I got my first DSLR in 2006, I've been avidly photographing all the wonder that surrounds us, whether that's nature or cities or humans. 

I specialize in all different kinds of natural light portraits (sorry, no studio work as of yet) and performing arts photography. I've been a professional modern dancer for over 15 years, so you could say I know a thing or two about pointed toes and the perfect arabesque line. 

For me, good photography is all about capturing authentic lives. I believe there's tremendous value and beauty in capturing things as they are, even if that's imperfect. The very best photographs express the essence of a person, place, moment. That is what I aspire to in all my shoots. That, and for us to have a good time making the pictures!
